Enter the amount you want to rotate the object(s) in the Angle field.
Click the down-arrow and then select a unit of measure.
Click Object > Transform or Press Shift + Ctrl + M.
Use the Selector tool to select the object(s) you want to rotate.
On the menu click Object > Flip Vertical, click the Flip Selected Objects Vertically icon, or press the V key. You can also use the menu, the Tools Control bar, or the Transform dialog box to rotate. For example, the square close bracket key (]) rotates objects clockwise and the open square bracket key () key, Inkscape rotates the object one degree. There are options that can help you rotate quickly. When dragging the cross, if you want to restrict it to a horizontal or vertical movement, hold down the Ctrl key as you drag. You can always move the rotation point back to its original location by holding down the Shift key while you click the cross. For example, if you want to rotate an object around a circular path, drag the rotation point to where you want the center to be. If you want to change the center of rotation, click and drag the rotation point to a new location. Inkscape always rotates around the center of rotation. Which is, by default, the center of the bounding box (the dotted lines that surround the object when you select it). The rotation point marks the center of rotation. If you look at the center of the object, you will see a small cross. I explained in Lesson 1, that when you click on an object with the Selector tool and then click on it again, Inkscape displays rotation handles on the corners. Then, just press the Space bar to advance to the next file in the folder. An "Are you sure" type dialog might show up (might be able to turn that off). Then save the file you should be able to press the Tab key or Alt-S to save. I would make sure the Quality Factor is at least 90%. Two windows will show up, one your typical file dialog, and a second one for JPEG compression (if GoPro's default format is JPEG). You can also do it rather quickly by staying in the GUI and using the keyboard. Note that you can also resize them, change JPEG quality, and rename them. It can rotate +/-90°, but to do 180° you will need to pick fine rotation on the far right and enter in 180°. From there it gets a bit tricky, you need to select all the files, you need to specify a destination folder, and you need to click on the Advanced Button to see Advanced options. Once installed, select "File | Batch Conversion/Rename". Irfanview is also good for simple edits, but it is no GIMP. May I suggest the batch mode of Irfanview, which only runs on Windows.
